Another shot I took while helping my photog friends, (as second shooter) Mat & Kirsty (Funky Creations Photography) on a commercial shoot they had to do of a touring Irish dance troupe at the Darwin entertainment center.
These guy's travel the world with their show and are fantastic to watch.
But crikey the lighting, - or rather lack of it!
We wern't permitted to use flash or any sort of "on or off camera" lighting which would disturb the patrons, - so, stage lighting only, which was really quite dark as to set the mood for the show.
My Canon 5D's ability to work at high ISO, and my 70-200 f/2.8 image stabilized lens worked perfectly together with the 5D & gave me fast enough shutter speeds to freeze the movement of the dancers, this made us a workable team!
